You and your teammates are finally ready to construct your Internet Science and Technology Fair (ISTF) final project website. This is where you report your research
findings. Be sure to review each link below for there are important items you need to consider. When your website is completed and your teacher submits it at the
ISTF admin site, you then need to complete the Final Process Evaluation. Each team member enters their own
responses. Finally, you should thank all the people who have helped you with your project.

Developing your final project website |
The ISTF has established Format Guidelines to guide how you present your final project information. The easier it is to navigate
through your website, the better it will be for the judges who will be evaluating your work. |
Over the years, we have seen student teams use the ISTF content components and tasks as headers and sub-headers to organize
their website. This is a very good practice for judges can easily find information they are required to evaluate. |
Including your technical advisor in the process |
Half of the technical advisors in last year's program did not have an opportunity to view their student teams' final projects. |
Your technical advisor's input is critical when developing your final project as they understand what you are working on and
may offer some very important suggestions. |
Coordinate with your teacher to enter your final project's URL address. |
Prior to submitting your final project, be sure to have as many people as possible review it for adherence to the
Content and Format Guidelines. This may be a good opportunity for your parents to see what you and
your teammates have accomplished. |
By 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on the February deadline, your teacher or educational coordinator must enter your final
project URL through the "My ISTF" link. (Please see the Schedule for the
current year's deadline.) |
Each student, teacher and technical advisor that participated on an ISTF team must complete the ISTF Final Process Evaluation
regarding their experience in the ISTF Program. |
The Final Process Evaluation must be completed by every team member or their final project website will not be judged. |
The input obtained from the Final Process Evaluation has had tremendous impact on changes made to the ISTF Program. It is our
hope each student, teacher and technical advisor will use the Final Process Evaluation as an opportunity to help us make improvements to the
overall ISTF Program. |
Thank all those who have helped you with your ISTF project. |
Your teachers and technical advisors each deserve your gratitude for their help in developing your ISTF project website. Please
let them know how much you have appreciated their help. And thank anyone else who assisted your team. |
