Abstract
Scientists have worked with organ transplants for over 40 years.Marvelous improvements and successes have developed over this time. In 1990, a severe shortage of organs was noted. Tissue/organ engineering is currently making great advances. In 5 years, nations will see the commercialization of organs and tissues engineered in laboratories.
